Two new franchises, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) will be making their debuts in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). And, these two sides will clash with each other on 28th March 2022 in their maiden match in the IPL.

3.Avesh Khan

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) splurged an amount of INR 10 crore to procure the services of Avesh Khan. The right-arm pacer is quick, can get the ball to move, and can also scalp wickets to peg back the opposition.

Avesh showcased his utility in the 2021 edition of the IPL, where he emerged as the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, scalping 24 wickets at an average of just 18.75. He also took the wickets at a tremendous strike rate of 15.25.

Avesh will surely be a player to keep an eye on. He is only 25, and with his ability to make the ball talk, he can surely cause some trouble to the Gujarat Titans’ batters in the encounter between the two sides.
