4. Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar Yadav is a classy seasoned cricketer and has the ability to hit all around the ground. Suryakumar is a Maharashtrian right-handed batter who can clear the boundaries with sheer timing and placement. He is a batter who could pace the innings if early wickets falls and can also be an innovative slogger if the situation demands.
Surya received an IPL contract for the first time from the Mumbai Indians in 2011. He was then transferred to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 and played three seasons there. Thereafter, he came back to Mumbai Indians in the year 2018.
He has a career average of 28.90 with a strike rate of 135.71 which is very good numbers for a middle-order batter. Owing to his splendid performance in 2020, he also received a national call and was successful there. Without a doubt, he is in his prime time now. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan might be competing hard for the remaining one retention position.
