Mayank Agarwal has to be one of the most improved Indian cricketers of late. While a few cricket fans perceived him to be a player for the longer format of the game, he proved them wrong by his performances in the toughest T20 league in the world. Besides, he’s a flexible player who can bat anywhere in the top order.
The batter has scored 2135 runs in 100 IPL games so far with a decent batting average and strike rate of 23.46 and 135.73 respectively. This includes 11 fifties and a hundred.
Moreover, he has formed an amazing partnership with the PBKS skipper KL Rahul. Both of them have formed a superb opening pair. Thus, it would be advisable to retain him for PBKS to continue their successful formula.
