3. Rohit Sharma – 53.6 million followers

The gap between the fourth and third is quite a big one, and even if both Warner’s and KL Rahul’s followers are combined, it still wouldn’t be anywhere near Rohit Sharma’s. He is arguably the second-best Indian batsman of his generation, and thus it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he has so many followers.

He quite often comes up with funny captions and can even be seen trolling some of his teammates in their comments. Apart from being the third most followed IPL captain, he is also the most successful captain on the field having lifted the trophy on 5 occasions.

He has 18.5 million followers on Twitter and 17.8 million on Instagram. His Facebook account has 17.3 million followers and he is one of just two captains to have more than 10 million followers on all three platforms.
