3. Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal has been RCB’s only consistent bowler over the last few years and has pretty much been carrying their bowling attack all by himself. He has become Virat Kohli’s go-to man for the Royal Challengers and his returns with them even pushed him into the Indian team.
He was with Mumbai Indians for a couple of years, but could only play one IPL match and was released ahead of the 2014 campaign. Being picked up by RCB changed his career as he was given plenty of opportunities to prove himself.
The leg-spinner has picked up 121 wickets in 100 games at a strike rate of 17.80 while conceding at just less than 7.7 in his IPL career. He is the 9th highest wicket-taker in the history of the league, and RCB will hope that he can continue producing similar returns for them.
