2) Fragile middle order
The Indian team has witnessed some middle order collapses in the past few years when the top order has failed to give a solid start. The No. 4 slot in the Indian team is still unsettled and looks as a weak link for the Indians for the upcoming World Cup.
The middle order of the Hyderabad team also looks quite weak and barring Manish Pandey none of the batsman batting below No. 3 scored a fifty in 2018 and in 2019 till now. The middle order of both the teams have failed to perform consistently and there is uncertainty in the middle order for both teams.
3) Good spin bowling attack
The Indian team has been known for its high-quality spinners. Presently the leg spinning duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have been instrumental in providing breakthroughs in the middle overs. Even in overseas conditions with less help for the spinners, the duo have been extremely successful.
Another leg spinner, Rashid Khan has been a major factor in the success of Hyderabad team in the past few years. This year the Afghan captain Mohammad Nabi has joined the party and the Afghanistan duo are forming a dangerous spin bowling attack. They have picked up wickets and also bowled economical spells.
