Being asked to bat first Gautam Gambhir said: “Last time, we played on the same surface and it spun. We played three spinners. We are not thinking too much about the weather. We have to stay in the present. Hopefully, we can restrict them. We are going with the same team.”

After winning the toss RCB skipper Virat Kohli said: “We are going to bowl first. The top layer is a bit damp. It might hold on, it might help the spinners. Later on with the dew coming, it might dry and batting might get easier. Hopefully, there won’t be rain. As long as we see the moon, it should be good. The last game was a good momentum booster. We know Kolkata are very good at home. They are a very strong side. We have to be on top of our game. We have one change. Abdulla comes in for Aaron. Well not yet (about his partnership with de Villiers against GL). Right now we have a game on hand. I might reflect once the tournament is over.”
