IPL 9 has already seen some tremendous ups and downs in the points table. Almost half way through the tournament, it is still very much in favour of every team to qualify for the playoffs, the Kings XI Punjab and the Rising Pune Supergiants, though, will have to win all their games in their bid to do so.

The Delhi Daredevils climbed to the second spot in the points table after their win over Kolkata Knight Riders, who now have slipped to the 3rd spot. Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their 4th defeat of the season and are still at the 7th position. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have made their way to the 4th spot after their home win against RCB.

The RCB skipper then needed to score 17 runs to get back the Orange Cap but could manage to get just 14. AB de Villiers with a good knock against the SRH rose to the 3rd spot. Earlier in the day, KKR opener Robin Uthappa moved into the top 10 with a half century.
