IPL Fantasy League 2021 – Match 26, PBKS vs RCB – Fantasy Tips

The 26th match in this IPL 2021 season will start at 7:30 PM IST, between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Ahmedabad. In this article, let us discuss the Season Long Fantasy League team setup for Match 26.

RCB are on a roll this season. They are having a dream season with just one defeat out of the six matches they have played so far. On the other hand, PBKS have won two out their six matches played. This is the second match for both the teams in Ahmedabad. Will RCB continue their dominance or will PBKS revive their strength?

PBKS plays their next match in three match gap and RCB plays their next match in four match gap. So we can carry only few players from these teams for their next match. Andre Russell (KKR), Nitish Rana (KKR): KKR are having a five match break. So we can transfer out all KKR players in our fantasy team.

Transfer In:

Glenn Maxwell (RCB): We have a mandatory all rounder slot vacant in our fantasy team. In-form Glen Maxwell will fit in that slot for this match perfectly. Due to RCB’s enough bowling resources, Maxwell is not getting bowling opportunities.

Uncapped Transfer In: 

Devdutt Padikkal (RCB): Devdutt Padikkal is coming as opener and is in good form. That will make him the first choice uncapped player option.

Captain: KL Rahul (PBKS) (If RCB bats first) / Devdutt Padikkal (RCB) (If RCB bats second)

Vice Captain: Glenn Maxwell (RCB) (If RCB bats first)/KL Rahul (PBKS) (If RCB bats second)

Considering the dew factor in Ahmedabad, we are choosing the captain from the team batting second. If batting first team scores less, there won’t be much target to chase for the team playing second. So, if we want to make batsmen as captain, it is better to choose the opening batsman from the team batting second.
