England all-rounder Ben Stokes impressed everyone with his stellar performance in the second Test against West Indies. He scored a sedate 176 with the bat helping his team post a mammoth total in the first innings. The southpaw then came back in the second essay to slam an unbeaten 78 off just 57 which led to England scoring 129 runs only in 19 overs and setting a target.
He didn’t stop here and claimed three wickets, all at a crucial stage, in the match to leave his teammates and fans awestruck. Not surprisingly, even former India cricketer Irfan Pathan was also delighted with his show at the Old Trafford. He also reckoned that team India will become unbeatable if they have a match-winning all-rounder like Stokes.
“Indian cricket will be unbeatable anywhere in the world if they have a match-winning all-rounder like @benstokes38 #matchwinner,” his tweet read.

Yuvraj Singh then decided to put his former team-mate ins a fix responding to the tweet stating if he meant Team India currently don’t have any match-winning all-rounder in the team. “Are you saying we don’t have a all-rounder who’s a match winner,” he replied. The conversation then continued with Irfan Pathan saying that Yuvraj has officially retired from the sport.
It seemed that he was pointing towards the southpaw’s match-winning performances with both bat and ball for India during his playing days. Yuvraj Singh was the Player of the Tournament in the 2011 World Cup for his all-round performance.
Are you saying we don’t have a all-rounder who’s a match winner 😜?

Yuvraj Singh praises Irfan Pathan in return
Yuvraj Singh was also kind enough to Irfan in return as he praised the latter for his contribution to the Indian team. Irfan Pathan started his international career as a bowler and then shone with the bat as well. He batted in top three for the Men in Blue on a few occasions too. Both of them still share the same camaraderie for each other and have time and keep on taking a friendly dig at each other on social media.
