Irfan Pathan's look in his debut film revealed; to play the role of Aslan Yilmaz in Chiyaan Vikram's Cobra

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan celebrated his 36th birthday on October 27. Wishes flooded in for him on social media from every nook and corner of the country. However, one of the wishes was a special and it had something for the fans to cherish as well. It is a well-known fact that Pathan is soon going to make his debut on the silver screen and the makers have revealed that his character’s name in the movie is Alan Yilmaz.
Irfan is making his acting debut in Kollywood alongside actor Chiyaan Vikram while the director of the film is Ajay Gnanamuthu. The movie has been named ‘Cobra’ and it is one of the much-awaited films with the star actor Vikram playing the main role in it. Moreover, Irfan is set to play the role of a stylish villain opposite Vikram according to the earlier update from Gnanamuthu.
The same man took to Twitter to wish Irfan Pathan a couple of days ago and presented the poster of the movie with the birthday boy’s look in it. The cricketer is dressed in black suit in the poster and will be seen playing the role of a French Interpol officer Aslan Yilmaz.

Cobra movie’s shoot was supposed to take place in Russia
Cobra team including Irfan Pathan headed to Russia to shoot some sequences earlier in March. But the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their plans and the team had to return to India with the travel restrictions. Having said that, the shooting of the movie is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan is busy covering the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is currently part of the bubble created by Star India in Mumbai. He is a Hindi commentator and the fans love his way of commentating as well.
