India cricketer S Sreesanth was one of the vocal cricketers during the lockdown. He did several interviews and opened up about the good and bad times he went through during his career. Unfortunately, his cricketing career came to a screeching halt for allegedly spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2013 and since then, he has been on the sidelines.
However, the ban is set to end in next month and the cricketer is already gearing up for it. He seems to be excited to take the field again and is training hard in the nets. Earlier, he was also included in the Ranji probables of Kerala squad which clearly indicates that the state team is also happy to have the pacer back in the mix.
Meanwhile, Sreesanth started bowling in the nets of a cricket academy in Kerala on Sunday and has shared a few video clips of the same on his official Twitter handle. In two out of the three videos, he could be seen beating the batsman with a back of a length outside off stump delivery. However, the 37-year-old sprayed down the leg-side in the other video.
Moreover, Sreesanth also looked extremely fit and it didn’t seem if he had lost his rhythm at all after not bowling for all these years.
Here are his tweets:

Kerala coach happy to have Sreesanth back
Earlier, Kerala coach had expressed his delight to have Sreesanth back in the mix once again for the upcoming domestic season. “His (Sreesanth’s) ban will be lifted in September. The good thing is that there is time for him to get ready.. He is working hard on his game and his fitness. Then we will have to assess his physical fitness and game skills. Sree (Sreesanth) is always in the scheme of things,” he had said.
However, as of now, nothing seems to be going well for India in terms of the Coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 spread is at its peak in the country and even the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is unsure if the domestic season, even the trimmed format, will go ahead as planned this time around.
