The eighth match of the Indian Premier League is on between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. Batting first, the Punjab batsman just couldn’t seem to settle on the crease as Deepak Chahar started wreaking havoc from his very first over. In the same course of incidents, there came up a light moment between him and skipper MS Dhoni. Chahar had already picked three wickets and was bowling his third over where he appealed for an lbw.

PBKS were already down on 19-4 and Chahar appealed for an lbw which was completely brushed aside by skipper MSD. The pacer came appealing in all the excitement and zeal but the Dhoni didn’t entertain him even a bit and said ‘ja ja.’

Talking about the bowling performance of Chahar, he picked four wickets in his quota of four overs by conceding just 13 runs. It was due to him only that the top order of PBKS couldn’t even breathe on the crease. He came and turned back big names like Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, and Deepak Hooda in no time. At the time of writing this, PBKS are playing at 89 runs on the loss of seven wickets.

Sharukh Khan playing it out for PBKS

The new man Shahrukh Khan is only shouldering responsibilities for his team as he is playing on 40 runs. PBKS won the last game against RR and were expecting to replicate the same heroics. However, things didn’t go well for them this time around. CSK, on the other hand, will be trying their best to make things better for themselves. They even started their IPL 2021 journey on a losing note.

The 2020 edition of IPL went ugly for the yellow franchise as they failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in the history of the league. Even skipper MS Dhoni failed to create magic with the bat and hence this time, not only CSK but MSD would be expected to bring some spark for the team.
