Jacques Kallis tweets about IPL Auction
KKR head coach, Jacques Kallis is one of the key decision makers for the franchise and can very well be expected to figure in that table while they bid over players in the 2-day long auction. The Protean legend posted a tweet, informing his fans and followers that he was off to India for the auction.
He ended the tweet on a cryptic note, posing a question as to which players would KKR choose this time around- a question that has all the fans sitting on the edge of their seats already. The Shah Rukh Khan-owned franchise previously chose to retain the Caribbean duo of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell via Direct Retention.

The frenzy regarding the upcoming auction has already upset the balance in the cricketing world, especially in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League (BBL). Big names including those of Stephen Fleming, Daniel Vettori and Brad Hodge will be adhering to a routine similar to that of Kallis’ as they will fly in to India to participate in the IPL auction, as each serves as the coach for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) respectively. As a result, all these eminent figures will be choosing to sacrifice the BBL action for the IPL bidding.
