The pitch in Hambantota has been a batting paradise thus far in the tournament. Scores over the 200-run mark have been pretty much the norm until now. Bowlers won’t be having much room for error by any means.

Kusal Mendis– Kandy Tuskers

Kusal Mendis has a truckload of potential on his shoulders. He can put his head down in crisis and hardly throws his wicket away in critical situations. Thus far, he is the leading run-scorer for the Tuskers.

In three games, the youngster has 113 runs at an average and strike-rate of 56.50 and 141.25 respectively. It goes without saying that the Tuskers would again be looking up to him.
