Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah after his bowling performance in the recent series against Zimbabwe has climbed to a career-best No.2 in the latest ICC Test rankings.
Bumrah was the second leading wicket taker of the series behind his fellow teammate Barinder Sran. The right-arm pacer has been highly impressive ever since he made his debut against Australia earlier this year.
Currently, Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in T20 internationals in 2016 having picked 24 wickets in 18 matches so far this year.
Barinder Sran also entered the ranking in 225th position after having 6 wickets from 2 matches. Among the batsmen, Mandeep Singh and Lokesh Rahul have returned to the rankings in 100th and 102nd positions respectively, while Manish Pandey moved 119 places to be ranked 152nd and Ambati Rayudu moved 133 places to reach the 217th rank in T20 internationals.

Indian Test skipper, Virat Kohli continues to top the chart of batsmen followed by Australian Aaron Finch at no.2 and Martin Guptill of New Zealand at no.3. Kedar Jadhav, who played a match-winning knock in the 3rd T20I of the series against Zimbabwe, jumped to 106th position.
India continues to remain at no.2 in the team rankings, after beating Zimbabwe 2-1. If India had won the series 3-0, they had the chance of topping the charts.
