Jatin Sapru is glad Virushka didn’t get married on 12th December

Virushka is the talk of the town, irrespective of whether someone is a cricket fan or has watched her movie but they certainly are talking about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s marriage. The celebrated couple got married with a perfect plan – a destination wedding at the favourite location of the bride, in presence of the people who matter and in specially crafted attire. However, TV presenter Jatin Sapru was glad they tied the knot on December 11 and not a day later.

The man who hosts matches and other shows on Star Sports posted a tweet; it was an image along with his wife Lara Sinha. It was intended for his wifey wishing her on the occasion of their second marriage anniversary. But the funny guy that Jatin is, he added a twist to the tale and also involved Virushka in his post.

He said that he was happy they decided to get married a day before his wedding day and didn’t steal that thunder from them.

Virat and Anushka have been all over the news since they announced their togetherness on social media. Their tweets, Instagram and Facebook posts received an amazing response from the fans who were desperately waiting for a confirmation since reports and speculations were already floating for days.

They got married in Italy behind closed doors and in presence of close family members and friends. It was to keep the media at bay and ensure their wedding was a private affair and not made a matter of public interest. To ensure everyone gets to be a part of joy the couple have planned for two receptions.

The first is in Virat’s hometown, New Delhi on December 21 where his teammates and colleagues from the cricketing fraternity are expected to grace the presence. The second one in the BTown, Mumbai for Anushka’s industry friends and associates on December 26.
