Jaydev Unadkat donates an undisclosed amount to PM-CARES and Gujarat CM's Relief Funds amid Coronavirus pandemic

Coronavirus threat has taken down several lives across the globe and it has affected many families. At the time writing this piece, there have been more than 5,300 people who have been affected by the COVID-19 in India. Over 160 people have died due to the crisis. In these situations, many well-to-do people have come up and contributed to society.
Saurashtra Captain Jaydev Unadkat became the latest person to contribute to the Relief Fund set by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. Unadkat shared the information through his official Twitter handle. He posted a picture in which there was a message written.
“I feel immense pain for those who are trying to make ends meet”, says Unadkat
In the message, Unadkat revealed that he and his family are providing essential items to the local migrants and local organisations. He expressed his view on the current situation that he feels immense pain for people who are failing to meet ends. he urged everyone to stay together and spread positivity in these desperate situations. Lastly, he asked everyone to stay home and be safe.
Posting the image on Twitter, the bowler shared his message. The image had a few words written on them. “My family and I are making our contributions towards the PM-CARES Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Gujarat), apart from providing essential things to the local migrants and local organizations. These last few days have been absolutely challenging for a lot of us.
I feel immense pain for those who are trying to make ends meet, fighting for food & life, in this situation. Let us all stand united, spread positivity and do whatever we can for those in need. This too shall pass. Stay Home, Stay Safe”, Unadkat said. Like Pujara, Unadkat also didn’t reveal the amount that he was going to contribute.
Recently, Unadkat’s longtime friend and teammate, Pujara had also posted a similar sort of message. Pujara’s message on Twitter read, “My family and I have contributed our bit to the PM-Cares Fund and Gujarat CM Relief Fund, and hope you will too. We are thankful to all the medical professionals, policemen and women and all others who are out there working hard for our country and humanity,” Pujara said in a statement that he tweeted.
