New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham seems to be least impressed with his ouster from the national side. The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) recently announced the 9 man initial squad for their upcoming tour to India. It was a rather unusual kind of an announcement that the NZC made when they named only 9 cricketers for the tour instead of 15.
The remaining six players would be announced soon for the tour. The preparations for the tour has already begun. While the players who have been named for the series have started with their preparations, the ones who got dropped look amused.
Among the big names that missed out on being a part of the initial 9 man squad for the series are the names of all-rounder Jimmy Neesham and middle-order batsman Neil Broom. Soon after the squad was announced for the tour, Neesham took to micro blogging site Twitter to express his amusement in a rather weird way.
He chose to keep mum on the topic but yet managed to convey his emotions. He did not write anything in his tweet. All that the all-rounder has in his tweet was a burning fire emoji. Well, this could well be interpreted as his anger on being left out of the squad for the series.
Here is what Jimmy Neesham tweeted:

The fans have been trying to decipher what he exactly meant by the tweet and have been guessing their own forms of interpretation. Neesham is yet to comment on the same. The ODI series will begin on October 22. The other 6 players in the squad will be the ones from the New Zealand A team that is currently touring India for the unofficial Tests against India A.
New Zealand Squad:
Kane Williamson (capt), Trent Boult, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Tom Latham, Adam Milne, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor.
