As Ravi Shastri was in a ‘good mood’, the southpaw also conducted a Question/Answer session.
Former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri’s social media activities hogged a lot of limelight on Friday (May 20). The former all-rounder took to Twitter and made a spree of posts that went viral in no time. Party was certainly on his mind as Shastri’s dashing pictures gave fashion goals to several youngsters. As he was in a ‘good mood’, the southpaw also conducted a Question/Answer session.
While fans flooded the micro-blogging platform with ‘#AskRavi’ tweets, Shastri only responded to a few of them. One of the netizens asked the veteran to pick between two of the finest Indian batters going around, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. As Shastri spent a lot of time with the two batting greats, he was expected to come up with an analytical response. However, as mentioned above, party was on his mind.
Ravi Shastri’s Twitter handle was on a roll
“Jiski bhi party mei zada mazze hai (Whoever’s party has more fun),” replied Shastri. The tweet went viral in no time as fans were left in splits. Meanwhile, in another conversation, a fan posted a sketch of Shastri and tweeted: “Sir 2 ghante lagake apka ye sketch banaya hai…pls reply.” As the portrait didn’t impress the 59-year-old, he tweeted: “Please mita de yaar.”
Meanwhile, the 1983 World Cup winner is currently serving as a commentator in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. 68 of 70 league-stage games have been done and dusted and fans have been entertained with some delightful on-field action. While dashers like Jos Buttler and KL Rahul have smashed a plethora of runs, Yuzvendra Chahal and Wanindu Hasaranga have been among the wickets.
Three of the four playoff spots have been sealed so far as Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals are confirmed to feature in the next stage. The remaining spot will be taken by either Royal Challengers Bangalore or Delhi Capitals. Notably, out of the aforementioned teams, only RR have tasted the IPL glory before. Hence, there are high chances of the tournament getting a new champion this season.
