Joe Root banned from celebrating England’s win in Walkabout: The celebration of 8-wicket win and series lead, in Walkabout for England was followed by the third Ashes Test win. Joe Root the England batsman was banned from being a part of the celebration Alastair Cook said. After the third Ashes test ended on its third day in Birmingham celebration was on the cards for the England team after they take a 2-1 lead in the series against Australia. Root has been banned to be a part of the celebration from Walkabout following the event back in 2013.

Joe Root, who scored 38 not out in the third day of the third Ashes Test was punched by David Warner in the venue after
England beat their rivals at Edgbaston during the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. “The one thing (about our celebrations) is Joe Root is banned from going to Walkabout.” The England captain said on being asked whether or not Warner and Root would see each other again in the same venue.

Stuart Broad making the entire situation funny posted a picture of Joe Root in the dressing room at Edgbaston , with caption “Don’t worry people, I’ll keep him out the Walkabout tonight.”

The series still has two matches to go. The England fast bowler Anderson who has been an asset in the first two days of the third test has been ruled out from the fourth test due to a side strain. On the brighter side, Steven Finn has made a remarkable comeback, also awarded the Man of the Match for his 8 wickets haul. The series is yet a close fight as the Aussies won’t give up so soon. The fourth match is to start on the 6th of August.
