Jofra Archer's upcoming assignment is to play 2 match Test series against New Zealand.
Kevin Pietersen, the former English cricketer has always been an outspoken player who has picked up lots of controversies during his international career. He was one of those players who had raised his voice against his own cricket board. After England faced a whitewash against Australia in Ashes 2014, he was sacked by his own ECB from the team because of his outspoken behavior and comments on his own coach Andy Flower.
Its been long that he has been seen on the field or attracted any controversy towards him but he looks very active on Twitter and never leaves a chance to pull legs of other cricketers or put his opinion out on any matter. Now, he has been stuck in a hilarious social media banter with English speedster Jofra Archer.

Archer, who did his debut earlier this year against Pakistan in Test has become a vital part of the national team after his brilliant performance in World Cup 2019 that helped the English team to become World Champions and also retain the Ashes 2019. Today, the 21-year-old speedster took his Twitter handle, and wrote, “I am ready to play cricket again.”

The banter starts here when this tweet caught an eye former England’s cricketer Pietersen, who looked proactive in replying to the youngster, he wrote, “So am I! You bowl and I bat?”

The last appearance of Jofra Archer came against Australia in the Ashes which was retained by the English team after they won the final Test against Australia. The upcoming assignment of young English bowler is to feature in two-match Test series against New Zealand starting on 21st November 2019 but he was not picked by the selectors in the T20I series, so as to give some young players a chance to showcase their traits in order to keep a well-settled squad ready for the upcoming T20 World Cup that is scheduled to be played in Australia next year.
English pacer has featured in 4 Tests, 14 ODIs and 1 T20I where he has managed to take more than 40 international wickets for his side.
