Virat Kohli is arguably the finest batsman going around, and his numbers across formats speak volumes of his prowess. Making his international debut in 2008, the right-handed batsman has piled a mountain of runs and guided India to many victories. He even shattered and made many records in the process. Needless to say, Kohli has numerous fans all across the globe and one can visit his social media account to verify the fact.
Many people from different fields like Indian Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, England football team captain Harry Kane and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have shown their admiration for the talismanic cricketer. It seems like World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star John Cena also belongs to that category. On Saturday (June 11), Cena took to Instagram and shared a candid picture of Virat Kohli while batting.
For the unversed, Cena, who’s one of the most popular wrestling stars, follows a strange approach on social media. He doesn’t write anything in caption while sharing pictures, and the followers have the onus to understand the context. Cena has mentioned the same information on his Instagram bio. “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy,” reads his page bio.
Fans confused with John Cena’s latest post
The wrestling superstar followed the norm for Kohli’s post as well and took social media by storm. Unsurprisingly, the comment section got flooded in no time as fans assumed the context behind the picture. One of the most popular was Cena is rooting for Virat Kohli-led Team India in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand. With the summit clash being around the corner, fans believe that Cena showed his support for Kohli backed him to play a match-winning knock.

Notably, this is not the first time when Cena has shared Kohli’s picture. Ahead of the India vs New Zealand semi-final clash in the 2019 World Cup, the 44-year-old also shared one of Kohli’s pictures. Unfortunately, the Men in Blue couldn’t beat the Kiwis in that summit clash but would be determined to settle the scores now. Meanwhile, the WTC final will get underway on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
