South Indian dishes consist of some of the most exotic items, which can be a delight to the taste buds. From Dosa, Idli to Uttapam, the list is an illustrious one. A number of foreign cricketers have also been to the cities, two of them are Dean Jones and Jonty Rhodes. Both cricketers have also been a part of the prestigious Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), a T20 tournament.
While Jones has often been seen weaving his magic in the commentary box, South African Rhodes has served as a mentor of the team Ruby Trichy Warriors. Jones also has fond memories of Chennai for the reason that he scored his maiden Test century against India back in 1986. He scored 210 runs from 330 balls in the first innings and the match eventually ended in a tie.
