Former South African cricketer, commonly regarded as one of the greatest fielders of all time, Jonty Rhodes has left Twitterati stunned with one of his replies to an Indian fan, that too in Hindi. Just recently, Ross Taylor left all of us in splits by giving hilarious replies to Sehwag’s ‘Darji’ tweets in Hindi and now, it’s Rhodes who is following Taylor’s footsteps.
Rhodes has a special connection with India. He is so fascinated by the culture and tradition of our nation that when he was blessed with a daughter, he named her, India. The cricketer has often praised Indian heritage and inspired by the same he named his daughter after our nation’s name.
Rhodes recently posted a picture of himself having a nice time at the luxurious Vivanta by Taj Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, located in Ranthambore. The 48-year-old veteran could be seen having ‘Old Monk’, a rum that is extremely popular in the country, in the picture and the Twitterati couldn’t stop from shooting all types of funny comments. One of the fans even went to ask if Jonty has learned Hindi yet.
