Rajasthan Royals’ opening batter Jos Buttler and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal learned dance steps and grooved to some music with the latter’s wife after the conclusion of the final match of the IPL 2022 against the Gujarat Titans.

Chahal’s wife Dhanashree was seen teaching Buttler some dance steps to a Punjabi song as they indulged in some fun and light moments after their loss in the IPL finals. While Buttler learned the steps quickly and followed Dhanashree’s cue, Chahal goofed up in the beginning and took an exit from the frame to watch the other two dance.

While Dhanashree and Buttler took the dancing bit seriously, Chahal played the funny part as he entertained the viewers with his hilarious expressions and style. As the Englishman remembered the steps that he was taught and did them without making many mistakes, he ended the dance with Chahal’s iconic pose by lying on the floor, and the spinner followed him in doing so.

Rajasthan Royals lost the IPL 2022 final

Rajasthan Royals had a terrific journey at the IPL this season as they made it to the finals of the cash-rich event for the first time since the inaugural season. Though they lost the last game against Gujarat Titans and finished as the runners-up of the season, the two most coveted awards, after the IPL trophy, that is the Purple Cap and the Orange cap landed in the RR camp.

Jos Buttler scored 863 runs in 17 matches throughout the tournament, which included four centuries and as many half-centuries. He was awarded the Orange Cap for scoring the highest runs in the tournament. Notably, Buttler is now second in the list of players with the most runs in an IPL season, as he stands one place below Virat Kohli who leads the chart with 973 runs in a single edition.

Yuzvendra Chahal bagged the Purple Cap for scalping 27 wickets in the season, the most by any bowler this season. Chahal, notably, broke Imran Tahir’s record as he became the first spinner to scalp the highest number of wickets, 27, in a single edition of the IPL. Tahir had bagged 26 wickets in 2019 to win the Purple Cap for CSK.
