South African pacer Kagiso Rabada, had a good county debut with the ball for his team, Kent, in the ongoing Natwest T20 Blast in England. He helped his team get over the line by giving them two initial breakthroughs and bowling the final over of the match.
He is coming off on the back of some good bowling performances in the tri-series at West Indies. Rabada, who just arrived to participate in the tournament, had a good outing as he was awarded as the player of the match.
Tom Latham and Joe Denly gave Kent a good start, adding 97 runs before the latter fell to Chris Nash in the 12th over. Sam Northeast and Latham followed in quick succession, before Billings and Alex Blake came up with quick-fire knocks to help Kent post a competitive total of 166 for 6.
Radaba picked up the wickets of both the openers of Sussex, to give his side the upper hand. Even though Sussex did not lose a wicket after that, tight bowling by the Kent meant that Matt Machan and Craig Cachopa could not take the visitors over the line.

Rabada’s arm guard misplaced:
This was one of the moments of the match when the debutant Rabada walked out to bat with his arm-guard on the left hand. The South African is a right-hand bowler and left-handed batsman. He put it down to ‘debut nerves’ at the end of the match.
Have a look at how Twitter reacted to Rabada’ star turn:
Looks like @KagisoRabada25 forgot that he is a left handed batsman and wore arm guard on left hand. #NatwestT20Blast pic.twitter.com/jOvr4pZpzO

Arm guard on wrong arm, 'debut nerves' from Rabada, love him already. #SuperKent

Can anyone shed any light on why Kagiso Rabada, a left-hander, is wearing an arm-guard on his left arm? pic.twitter.com/5cENO7wuYQ
