There are surprise revelations too in the likes of Mumbai Indians’ Mayank Markande, Shreyas Gopal of Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils’ Harshal Patel and Kolkata Knight Riders’ Prasidh Krishna. All the players were before being acquired by their respective franchises for their base price of a mere ₹20 lakh. The quartet in the order of mention here leads the IPL Moneyball Value for Money impact.
Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma and Jaydev Unadkat, who bagged a surprise ₹11.5 crore deal from Rajasthan Royals, have turned out to be the most disappointing investments by their respective franchises.
