The Kiwis ended up securing a historic Test series win against Pakistan in the UAE. After winning the first Test, the New Zealanders suffered an innings defeat in the next game. Even in the third Test till Day 2, things weren’t falling in place for the visitors. However, there was a complete turnaround as Kiwis went on to register a spectacular victory. During the presentation ceremony, the New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was called to receive the trophy.

Williamson was in his own zone and instead of collecting it from the sponsor who was waiting behind for the skipper, directly took the trophy from the podium and turned back to celebrate it with his team. BJ Watling was awarded a cheque for his batting and was flaunting it. He took it away from Watling and threw the big cheque away.

There was so much going on in the clip. The Oye Hoye Trophy sponsor standing there, the Uber person who was actually there to receive a signed ball. Moreover Ramiz Raja‘s ‘doesn’t matter’ expression after Williamson just walked towards his team without looking back. It became a talking topic on social media.

Earlier New Zealand were reduced to 60/4 and trailing Pakistan by 14 runs. This is where the skipper and Henry Nicholls stepped up with centuries to steer the Kiwis out of trouble. Both stitched a partnership of 212 runs for the fifth wicket. The visitors set Pakistan a target of 280 before declaring.

With two and a half sessions to survive, half of the Pakistani batting lineup folded up before lunch. The likes of Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed tried to save the Test match but failed in their attempt. Pakistan were bundled for 156 runs as the New Zealanders registered an astounding series victory.
