Kapil’s Chandigarh hotel

Kapil spent a significant part of his childhood in Chandigarh before shifting base to Delhi. Talking about the city, he said that he keeps visiting whenever he feels like and mentioned that even his relatives stayed here. He also stated that the city holds a special place in his heart.

The former Indian skipper also used to own a hotel in Chandigarh. However, once Kapil transferred his base to Delhi, it became difficult for him to handle the affairs of the hotel. Hence, it was shut down permanently.

Recently during Hyderabad Cricket Association’s yearly held AGM, there were some intrusions with regards to former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin’s participation. When Dev was asked his views about the same. However, he refrained from sharing any comments or opinion on that.

In 2002, the legend was named by Wisden as the ‘Indian Cricketer Of The Century’.
