Who would have thought to see Hardik Pandya and Karan Johar together let alone shaking a leg with each other? After all, it was Karan Johar’s questions on his chat show Koffee with Karan that had nearly derailed Pandya and his teammate KL Rahul’s careers. Upon asked by Karan, Pandya had gone on to reveal some startling details about his personal life and had ended up making comments that were deemed controversial and misogynist.
A furious BCCI had then taken immediate action, calling back Pandya and Rahul from Australia before the ODI tours, thus leaving their careers in limbo. The duo was soon suspended even after they had tendered their apology. Not only that, the two especially Pandya had faced flak from all over. Fortunately, the Committee of Administrators soon lifted the ban pending the appointment of the BCCI ombudsman.
Consequently, the two returned to action. While Pandya travelled to New Zealand for the ODI and the T20I series, Rahul joined India A camp to play against England Lions at home. And it looks Pandya has left behind the episode and has moved on as he was recently seen dancing his heart out with Karan.
The two were spotted dancing in Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding. The pre-wedding celebration had kicked off last month in Switzerland with celebrities from across the country attending it.
Here is the clip showing Hardik and Karan bonding together during the celebration:

CoA refers case to ombudsman:
Meanwhile, Pandya and Rahul’s controversy will be the first case BCCI’s newly-appointed ombudsman, Justice DK Jain will adjudicate on. Last week, the CoA and the BCCI had handed over the case to Justice Jain after a meeting in New Delhi. As per reports, there is no timeframe for Justice Jain to take a final decision.
Pandya is currently recuperating from a back injury while Rahul is part of the ODI squad playing against Australia.
