Kedar Jadhav, the Indian all-rounder, in a tweet, has shown an interest in following a new football club after star player Christiano Ronaldo’s exit from the Spanish club Real Madrid earlier this year. Pune born Jadhav, who isn’t a part of the India T20I team which is currently playing a three-match T20I series against Carlos Brathwaite’s Windies, has been enjoying the break by having an interactive session with his fans.
On Friday, Jadhav revealed that he had been an ardent Real Madrid fan due to Portuguese captain Christiano Ronaldo. But, Ronaldo brought an end to his nine-year stay at the Spanish club by moving to Italian club Juventus earlier this year. The transfer of star player Christiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventus has left a lot of Los Blancos fans heartbroken and they want to switch loyalties.
The 33-year-old Jadhav also seems to be one of those confused fans and had come forward seeking advice from his fans on which club to follow now after being a Real Madrid fan for three years. He asked his fans to advice him on which teams he should follow now among- Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
Here’s the tweet from his Twitter handle:
Which Football team should I start following guys🤔?
P.S. Have been a Real Madrid fan for years thanks to @Cristiano.— IamKedar (@JadhavKedar) November 9, 2018
Most of the fans suggested Jadhav support Manchester United followed by Ronaldo’s new club Juventus. He later came out with another tweet where he expressed his unparallel love and support for Indian football team and Indian Super League franchise Pune City FC as it’s his hometown club.
Jadhav has become an integral part of Indian 50-overs international side. He was instrumental in India’s Asia Cup campaign, which the Men in Blue won the record seventh time, by scoring runs in the middle order and chipping in with the ball as well by taking important wickets with his round-arm off-spin bowling.
