Kent ropes in Marcus Stoinis and Adam Milne for T20 Blast

The Natwest T20 Blast has been a massive extravaganza in England cricket where cricketers from around the globe grace their presence. Last season. Nottinghamshire humbled Warwickshire in the final by 22 runs and clinched the championship. The 2018 season of the event begins on the first week of July and several teams are straining every muscle to get their combinations right.
Milne and Stoinis join in
Kent Spitfires have had a disappointing run last time around and managed only six wins out of their 14 games. Subsequently, they finished sixth in the league table of the South Group. As per reports in bbc.com, the franchise has signed Adam Milne, New Zealand fast-bowler, and Marcus Stoinis, the Australian all-rounder for their upcoming edition of the T20 league.
After the signings, Paul Downton, the director of Kent cricket, expressed his jubilation to the media. He hailed the Kiwi pacer and expects him to be an integral part of their setup. “Bowlers of Adam’s pace and skill are rare and we believe he can be a match-winner for us in this format,” Downton was quoted as saying by the media.
Marcus Stonis has also been an integral part of the Australian setup and has played some match-winning knocks for his country. The director also praised Stonis’ attributes and the value he brings as a handy all-round cricketer. “Marcus is a dynamic cricketer who will add depth to our batting and bowling in the T20 Blast,” he added.
Stonis will join the Spitfires ahead of the match against Sussex on July 27 and will represent their side till the last league game against Essex on August 17. Kent will play their first game against Surrey on July 6. Meanwhile, Milne will join Matt Henry as their third overseas signing for the upcoming season of the tournament.
