English cricketer Kevin Pietersen has been very active in supporting the cause of the wildlife conservation in the recent times. The former English skipper has been posting updates about the same on the social media. He is currently in India actively participating in activities of wildlife conservation. Interestingly, KP has found a partner in India who supports the same cause. The person is Suniel Shetty.
Suniel Shetty is a veteran Indian actor who has been involved in the social work for quite some time now. And now, from the latest update that Kevin Pietersen has posted on the social media, it is apparent that Suniel Shetty is also batting for the same cause. Pietersen tweeted a picture on his social media handle in which he is seen with Suniel.
Also, the two celebrities are seen with a signed cricket bat. The signatures are the testimonials of the support they have been extending to the wildlife conservation acts. Both the gentlemen are active participators of the activity that is being held under the name of ‘SORAI’. I
t stands for ‘Save our Rhinos Africa and India’. In the recent times, the reckless poaching of the Rhinos has been on the rise. This has been a big concern for the wildlife activists. KP has been posting pictures and updates condemning such acts. It is worth noting that saving the Rhinos is not the only wildlife cause that Pietersen is supporting.
Recently, he adopted an orphaned Leopard in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He adopted the leopard in a bid to show his support to saving the endangered animal. Poaching of leopards has also been on the rise in India. Also, recently when the Chinese Government put a ban on the ivory trading, KP had posted a happy message about the same.
Here is what Kevin Pietersen tweeted:
“Another @SORAI2018 supporter & incredibly generous man – @SunielVShetty. HERO!” Kevin Pietersen captioned the picture he posted on his social media handle.
