Kevin Pietersen gets trolled by a Gujarat cop

Kevin Pietersen is an outgoing personality and rarely holds himself back always spoken out what comes to his mind. He has landed into several controversies because of his openness. However, that has never stopped him from the person that he is.

The former England batting mainstay, however, is not a serious personality at all. He believes in having fun. If one finds it hard to believe then his Instagram account can be a proof for it. These days he spends his time travelling places, playing golf and enjoying fine champagne.

There are many instances on and off the field where KP’s fun, witty nature was on display. One such incident happened some time ago when he was in India. Here’s a very funny story submitted on Quora where a Gujarat cop trolled Kevin Pietersen during a practice game between India and England at Vadodara.

The story was recalled by the cop’s son who mentioned saying that his father, a Deputy Police Commissioner was handed over the security of that practice match.

“Pietersen got caught and returned to the Box where he sat in the front row beside the cop. He opened a can of Red Bull and started sipping it. The cop being unaware of what the drink was staring at KP who noticed this and asked the cop if he wanted the drink. The cop replied with a no and thanked him. KP being KP tried to act witty. He responded by saying that even if he wanted the drink, he would not give it to the cop and started laughing.”

“The cop called a constable and said, “Aa baju walo je drink pi rahyo che ne e drink game tya thi shodhi ne ahiya ubhela badha police wala ne pivdavo.” (“Whatever this man beside me is drinking, find it and buy it for every police person who is standing here.”)

As per his instructions the constable bought a carton of Red Bull cans and distributed it to every Police personnel on the ground. The cop then went to KP and opened his can. He politely asked Pietersen, “ You want some? But, I won’t give it to you!”

This was a cracking reply to Pietersen. It would be interesting to see how he reacts to this anecdote shared by the user.
