Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen is currently in India covering the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL) for Star Sports. Recently, he bid adieu from all forms of cricket officially after featuring for Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League (PSL). He has also declared now that he will owe all his life in saving the rhinos all over the world. However, he has got the support of several Indian celebrities for the same and the latest in the list is the vice-captain of the Indian team Rohit Sharma.
Pietersen had also travelled to India in the middle of PSL in February and visited the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh regarding the social cause. Meanwhile, he also got the support from the Bollywood celebrities Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty and Shraddha Kapoor for SORAI. Even Rohit Sharma uses a sticker of Rhinos supporting Pietersen in his social work.
Pietersen terms Rohit as great
Kevin Pietersen interviewed Rohit Sharma on Wednesday and it seems that he had a great time with him and his wife Ritika Sajdeh. He was delighted after meeting the adorable and happy couple and termed them as ‘great’ people. He seemed to highly impressed with them supporting him in his social cause of late and the Indian cricketer is known to help the helpless.
Pietersen posted the pictures of him along with Rohit and Ritika and expressed his happiness after meeting them on his official Twitter handle. “There are good people & there are great people. @ImRo45 & his wife are great. They’re dedicated to being the voice for the voiceless. I interviewed Rohit this morning. Coming to @StarSportsIndia soon,” he tweeted in praise for the couple.
Rohit also smashed 94 runs last night against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and stormed back into the form to help his team win their first match of the season.
