KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla, on Wednesday, took to Twitter to call out Airport authorities of India after her poor experience at the airport. The veteran Bollywood actress was returning from Dubai after the completion of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). IPL 2020 concluded on Tuesday with the final between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.

Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by five wickets to clinch a record fifth IPL title. The Mumbai-based franchise also became just the second team after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to defend the trophy. Set a target of 157 in the title-decider, the reigning IPL champions crossed the finishing line in the 19th over thanks to their skipper Rohit Sharma‘s fine fifty.

Coming to Juhi Chawla’s poor experience at the airport, she was not at all impressed with the facilities during the pandemic. She was stranded along with other passengers at the health clearance queue for more than two hours upon her return from Dubai and decided to make the authorities aware of the poor arrangement.

Juhi Chawla recorded a small video of her experience at the airport and posted it on Twitter, writing: “Request the Airport and Govt authorities to IMMEDIATELY deploy more officials and counters at the Airport Health clearance … all passengers stranded for hours after disembarking .. … flight after flight after flight …..Pathetic, shameful state ..!! @AAI_Official.”

Here is the tweet from Juhi Chawla:

Not the season to remember for Kolkata Knight Riders

For the second year in a row, the two-time IPL champions missed out on a playoffs berth. Kolkata Knight Riders finished the season at the fifth spot with 7 wins from 14 games. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore had also the same number of wins but they booked the last two playoffs spots ahead of KKR because of their better net run-rate.

The Kolkata-based outfit never really managed to have a consistent run in the just-concluded tournament. For most part of the tournament, their batting line-up looked unsettled as they experimented constantly. Injury to their ace all-rounder Andre Russell only made things worse for them. Their star spinner Sunil Narine had to miss some games too after he was reported for his bowling action.

Midway through the tournament, KKR had a change of captaincy too after Dinesh Karthik stepped down from the post. Eoin Morgan took charge but could not power KKR to the playoffs. Under Morgan, KKR won three of their last seven league games.
