Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic have been raking up headlines since the start of the year. Hardik and Natasa had started dating in 2019 and the couple had got engaged on January 1, 2020. Meanwhile, amid the COVID-19 lockdown, they had announced that they are set to become parents soon. They had tied the knot during the lockdown before announcing the arrival of their child.
Since then, they’ve been quite active on social media. The couple has shared many adorable photos and videos of each other at a time when the international cricket in India is at a halt. Natasa recently shared a lovely picture with Hardik which started doing rounds on social media in no time. “You complete me,” wrote Natasa along with tagging the India international.
The picture was soon flooded with likes and comments and Hardik’s teammates and India players KL Rahul and Yuzvendra Chahal also reacted to the picture by dropping a ‘heart emoji’ in the comments section.
Similarly, Hardik also shared an adorable picture with Natasa, where her baby bump is clearly visible. The couple has been on a photo-sharing spree since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. Like all India players, Hardik also has no option but to keep himself fit and be on his toes while waiting for the resumption of international cricket.
Hardik Pandya hasn’t played international cricket for almost a year
Hardik hasn’t played international cricket since September 2019. He even had a surgery in October to fix his back issue. The all-rounder was to make his comeback for India A on the tour of New Zealand but had to withdraw at the last minute.
After missing the New Zealand tour, he proved his fitness in the DY Patil Trophy to claim his spot in the ODI series against South Africa. However, to his disappointment, the series was called off in the wake of the pandemic after the first ODI at Dharamsala got washed out.
Hardik was also set to represent Mumbai Indians in the thirteenth edition of the IPL but the tournament got postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 outbreak. However, according to reports, the cash-rich league is all set to be shifted to the UAE in September. The BCCI is trying its best to get the league underway in the latter phase of the year.
