In the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, the visitors won the toss and elected to bowl first. As has been the trend of late the commentators had one of the fielders hooked on with microphones to talk with them. It was Kings’ KL Rahul and during their interaction in the second over he accidentally said F***.
They were talking about the playing conditions, his teams plan and the way the match was expected to pan out. In the interim RCB opener Parthiv Patel got an inside edge off Mohammed Shami in the second over. It was the fifth ball of the over but luck was his way and the ball rather than crashing onto the stumps raced away to the fine leg boundary.
Rahul just as an intuitive reaction dropped the F word. He said, ‘Ah f****,’ then realized he was mic’ed up and asked the commentators, ‘did that come on camera’ trying to check if it was recorded. Patel went on to thrash the Kings XI front line pace attack. Ankit Rajpoot, in particular, was expensive as he even bowled a no ball and another on the free hit. Shami who has been in tremendous form also couldn’t control the flow of runs as both Virat Kohli and Patel made use of the field restrictions.

The wicketkeeper-batsman who made the winning contribution to the Royal Challengers both with the bat and his glove work in the previous game made a difference once again. He was at the crease for just 24 balls but hit as many as seven boundaries and two sixes to really punish KXIP bowlers.
He scored 43 and looked good for another half century in what has been a productive season for him. But his stay in the middle was cut short by leg-spinner Murugan Ashwin. He managed to induce a leading edge and was caught comfortably by skipper Ravi Ashwin.

Best part of the match so far – KL Rahul asking commentators to take him off the mike so that he doesn't get caught swearing. 😂
