KL Rahul and Manish Pandey included in Karnataka Ranji Squad for next game

Indian stars KL Rahul and Manish Pandey have been included in the Karnataka squad for their next Ranji encounter against Delhi. Both of them will be released after the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand and then will soon join their state team. The next round of the ongoing season of Ranji Trophy will commence on November 9 as the tournament goes deep and the teams are looking to win big in order to qualify for the next round.

KL Rahul will be available only for a solitary game after which he will join the national side for the Test series against Sri Lanka. Unlike in the limited overs format, he is expected to be part of the playing XI in the longest format and has been in excellent form in whites. On the other hand, Manish Pandey will be available for more matches as the ODI and T20I series against the island nation are scheduled to play in December. However, both of them have warmed bench so far in the ongoing T20I series and it is likely they will play in the decider as well.

Karnataka top Group A

Vinay Kumar led Karnataka side is looking in great form this season after struggling to make a mark last year. So far they have won all their 3 matches and would be looking to seal the top spot by winning couple more matches. They face Delhi in their next game starting from November 9 who are second in the points table in Group A. The match is expected to be a cracker of a contest as the superstars are filled in both the teams.

Karnataka swept aside Assam in their first game and won the game by an innings and 121 runs. Then they prevailed in a close contest against Hyderabad by 59 runs before thumping Maharashtra by an innings and 136 runs in Pune. The skipper would love to continue in the same vein of form and hope that team goes all the way this time around.
