Karachi set to host at least 4 matches in the next edition of the Pakistan Super League
Najam Sethi has done a brilliant job ever since he took over as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Najam Sethi confirmed that the city of Karachi will get at least 4 matches in the next edition of the Pakistan Super League. Pakistan are currently going through an international drought because of the attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009. The country of Pakistan have not seen international cricket ever since but the ban is slowly nearing an end with an ICC World XI team coming to the country in September.

The Pakistan Premier League is played in Dubai and the final was played in Lahore this year. However, according to the PCB chief, Karachi will also get a few matches apart from Lahore in the 3rd edition of the lucrative Pakistan Super League. the news is a massive one for the residents of the city as the National Cricket Stadium will finally see some international cricket action once again.
Najam Sethi has done a brilliant job ever since he took over as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. An ICC World XI will be touring Pakistan in the month of September which will mark the end of the international ban in the country. The team consists of some big names from the world of cricket in the form of Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, Paul Collinwood, Darren Sammy, Grant Elliot, Luke Ronchi and a few more. Sethi has promised presidential level security for the visiting team during the tour.
It is believed that a Sri Lankan team will also tour Pakistan which will be followed by the West Indies. It seems like the fans will finally get what they want after 8 years of punishment. Sethi also confirmed that the PCB will not tolerate any corrupt activities and the guilty will be severely punished. Sharjeel Khan who was found guilty of spot fixing in the PSL has been handed over a 5-year ban and Sethi used it as a warning for all other players.
