Krishnappa Gowtham expecting a baby with wife Archana Sundar in January 2022

Karnataka all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham announced that he is expecting a baby with his wife Archana Sundar in 2022 January. The all-rounder announced the happiness through his official Instagram where the couple posed for a beautiful photoshoot. Both Gowtham and his wife appeared in black outfits as they came up for several shots.

While Gowtham looked dapper in a black shirt and trousers, his wife looked all pretty in a black dress. The most interesting element of their photoshoot was when they posed with the baby bump in the Chennai Super Kings jersey. One of the pictures also showed the cricketer and his wife holding an ultrasound image of the growing foetus.

Krishnappa Gowthan announces happiness with wife Archana Sundar

Talking about Gowtham on the professional front, he marked his international debut for India in July 2021 when a relatively younger squad of India toured Sri Lanka for six white-ball matches. Many uncapped players got their chances under the guidance of Rahul Dravid and Gowtham was one of them. He played one ODI and picked a wicket to his name in form of Minod Bhanuka.

Talking about his current status, the Karnataka cricketer will be up with Chennai Super Kings in the UAE leg of IPL 2021. He was roped in by the yellow army during the 2021 IPL auction. In fact, he became the most expensive uncapped player ever as the yellow army secured his services in whopping INR 9.25 crores ahead of IPL 2021.

CSK will be keen on getting their 4^th IPL title under the legendary skipper MS Dhoni. After enduring a terrible run in IPL 2020, MS Dhoni and company marked a sound come back and played some great cricket in the Indian leg of IPL 2021. Currently, they are placed at 2^nd position on the points table and will play the opening clash against Mumbai in the UAE leg.
