Team India is blessed with some of the best batsmen over the years. While it was the quartet of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman along with Sourav Ganguly earlier, the current team is also filled with the superstars. Virat Kohli, the skipper, leads the lot and no wonder it is a nightmare to even bowl to him in the nets leave alone getting him out in the match.

However, the chinaman Kuldeep Yadav feels that Cheteshwar Pujara is a tougher batsman compared to others when it comes to bowling in the nets. He lauded India’s Test number three as one of the best players against spin bowling in the longest format of the game. Interestingly, he went with Rohit Sharma as the toughest batsman to bowl in the ODI cricket and also felt that the upcoming cricketers are also good at playing spin these days.

“Toughest batsman in the nets is Cheteshwar Pujara I guess. He plays very well against any offspinner, especially in Test cricket. And in ODI format it is Rohit Sharma. Of course there are plenty of youngsters as well. They aren’t afraid of going for the big shots. So everyone is good. But Pujara in Tests is really difficult to bowl to,” he said while speaking to Cricket.com.

Kuldeep Yadav active on social media

Amid the nationwide lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Kuldeep Yadav has become active on social media recently. He has been giving interviews on Instagram live to several people including some of his teammates. During one of those chats, he recalled his international debut in 2017 against Australia. It was the Dharamsala Test where the chinaman shone first at the highest level and left the visitors stunned with his variations.

“I get emotional when I remember my Test debut in Dharamsala. The most important thing for me at the time was how to perform. I remember a day before the match, Anil sir came to me and said ‘you will play tomorrow, you have to take 5 wickets’,” he had said remembering one of the memorable moments of his career.
