A few days ago at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (SCG), Tim Paine and Rishabh Pant, Australia and India’s wicketkeeper respectively, were involved in a healthy banter on the field, which made the headlines for the next few days. Paine called Pant a ‘babysitter’ when the latter came to bat in the first innings. Thereafter, Pant referred to the Aussie skipper as a ‘temporary captain’.

In the meantime, Bonnie Maggs, Tim Paine’s wife posted a picture on his Instagram story where Pant was seen carrying their children. Moreover, she captioned the picture and wrote, ‘best babysitter’. The picture didn’t take time in going viral and Bonnie became an overnight sensation as her followers increased on the social media platform. Paine and Pant also opined on the photo.

After the duo, Kuldeep Yadav, India’s chinaman bowler, also came up with something related to a kid. Prior to the match at the renowned Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), when the teams stood in unison for the national anthem, the 24-year-old was seen pulling the cheeks of a mascot, standing in front of him. The cameraman didn’t miss out on focusing on Kuldeep when he was carrying on the act.

An impressive Kuldeep

The pitch at the SCG was speculated to offer help to the spinners and hence, India went in with a couple of spinners. Therefore, Kuldeep was picked to partner Ravindra Jadeja in the spin department. Also because off-spinner Ravi Ashwin didn’t recover from his abdominal injury, the Uttar Pradesh-born bowler got his opportunity after sitting out for the first three Tests.

He didn’t disappoint by any means and finished with figures of 24-6-71-3. First, he accounted for the wicket of Usman Khawaja, who looked solid in the middle. Then he got rid of Travis Head after which he removed Aussie skipper Tim Paine with a ball that spun sharply into the right-hander.
