KXIP haven’t won against SRH since 2014; Sunrisers Hyderabad have 8-2 lead
The Sunrisers will be hoping to continue their recent dominance in the context of the 2018 IPL.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are yet to lose a match in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Kane Williamson will look to maintain the momentum which the team was looking for after the ouster of David Warner. The 2016 champions will take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in their fourth match of the tournament at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, April 19.
Led by Ravichandran Ashwin, KXIP won their last match against a resurgent Chennai Super Kings by 4 runs and have four points in three matches.
SRH and KXIP have played 10 times in IPL 2018 with SRH winning 8 times against the Kings’ 2 wins. The Kings haven’t beaten SRH since the 2014 edition.
