Team India is currently sweating it out in the nets ahead of the fourth Test in Sydney. They currently lead the series by 2-1 and are the favourites to create history by winning it for the first time down under. Interestingly, amidst all the talk of spin playing a crucial role, the Indian batsmen were seen facing Pakistan pace bowlers who play for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Salman Irshad and Haris Rauf were the fast bowlers who gave the testing time to the players from their neighbouring country in Sydney. Both the cricketers are playing club cricket in Australia and soon will be featuring in the upcoming edition of the PSL. This will be great practice for the visitors as well. Mitchell Starc is known to bowl with searing pace and Rauf’s ability to dish out yorkers at pace can get them prepared.
Both the bowlers bowled to Virat Kohli as well and needless to say that they were delighted to meet the Indian captain. The sports journalist of Abb Tak, Anas Saeed, posted the pictures of the Irshad and Rauf with Kohli.

India chase history in Sydney
Meanwhile, India is gearing up for the final Test match in what has already been a gruelling tour of Australia. They will be keen on winning the series 3-1 as Kohli suggested after the previous game and it will be interesting to see how they approach this encounter. On the other hand, the Aussies’ backs are against the walls and will have to put up a resilient show to trump the visitors.
Despite injury issues to some of their best players, India has managed to pull off spectacular performances on this tour and the fans will be hoping for another such show in Sydney. With the pitch likely to help the spinners a lot, they will also feel at home and can work in their favour.
