MI, DC, SRH, and RCB step into the playoffs of IPL 2020.

Match no 56, the final match of the league stage in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, took place between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. In their do or die contest, Hyderabad came out with flying colours. SRH crushed defending champions MI by 10 wickets. Being invited to bat first, Mumbai posted an average 149 on the board where no batter could put up an extraordinary show. It was only Kieron Pollard who accelerated Mumbai’s innings towards the end (41 off 25).

Shahbaz Nadeem was named as the player of the match as he conceded just 19 runs off his spell to pick two wickets. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan added 36 and 33 runs respectively from their end. The bowling section of Hyderabad was determined enough to create all the troubles for the opponents. Nadeem added the phenomenal spin attack to the team’s unit, and Sandeep Sharma named three wickets under his belt.

David Warner became the backbone of SRH’s batting unit

Chasing the ordinary target in Sharjah, SRH’s openers took the charge on their shoulders brilliantly. David Warner donned the skipper’s cap too well when he smashed 85* off 58, and Wriddhiman Saha played a magnificent knock of 58* off 45 to get the team over the line. The bowlers of Mumbai struggled to pick even a single wicket in this match.
