Suresh Raina is known as a game changer for India although he has not yet proved that right in 2016 barring one match against Australia on January 31, 2016 where he made 49* runs from 38 balls and helped India to win the match from a tough situation. MS Dhoni would like to prove once again as a captain because he has all the skills in his armory that can help India to win this year’s ICC T20 World Cup and he has proved himself as captain in many ICC tournaments. India needs a fast bowling all-rounder who can bat properly and now India have someone like Hardik Pandya who will take that spot. He is a very good hitter of the ball as his strike rate in T20I cricket is 147.61 and he has also taken 10 wickets this year from 11 T20I matches. This will be first World Cup for Hardik Pandya and if he can prove his worth then he can make his case for ODIs and Tests, too but for that how he performs against New Zealand in the first match that will be interesting to see.

JaspritBumrah has been a revolution for India ever since he made his debut for India. He has a very good control over his line and length in powerplay overs and he can bowl yorkers at will and that can be most effective weapon of him if he needs to take wickets regularly in death overs. Just like Pandya, Bumrah will play his first World Cup but by looking his confidence one can see that he has lot to offer to Indian team and this World Cup can be start for him of that long journey if he performs well.

<p>JaspritBumrah has been a revolution for India ever since he made his debut for India. He has a very good control over his line and length in powerplay overs and he can bowl yorkers at will and that can be most effective weapon of him if he needs to take wickets regularly in death overs. <p>Before a year ago, India was searching for a fast bowler who can pick wickets in powerplay overs and now India have Ashish Nehra who has taken wickets regularly for India in powerplay overs in last seven or eight T20I matches and that allowed Indian spinners to control the game and that is the main reason why India is successful in 2016. Along with his skill of swinging the ball in initial overs, he can bowl well in death, too. Now, Mohammad Shami is fit so it will add pressure on Nehra so it will be interesting to see how will perform but as of now he will play tomorrow in the first T20I match against New Zealand at Nagpur on the back of his good performances in 2016.</p>

<p>After India’s spectacular performance in Asia Cup T20 2016, now India will be up against New Zealand in their first match of ICC T20 World Cup 2016 which will be played at Nagpur. India have played 11 matches in 2016 and won 10 matches and one of the main reasons of these wins is India’s settled playing XI. India have found a solid opening pair along with that a reliable middle order and useful lower order and most importantly good pacers and spinners. India have also now tested their bench strength in Asia Cup 2016 match against U.A.E. and in warm up matches against West Indies and South Africa and it seems they all are fit and ready to go and that we can sense from Mohammad Shami’s return in Indian squad. <p>India is lucky to have a player like Rohit Sharma in their team as his records suggest us that he will be a big threat to all opponents in this year’s World T20 and he has been in supreme touch this year as he has made 337 runs from 11 T20I matches. He also holds the record for most runs by an Indian player in ICC World T20. He would like to continue his form in this year’s World T20. He is a player who can play 20 overs and if he will be able to do that then India have an every chance to beat New Zealand in the 1<sup>st</sup> T20I match of T20 World Cup 2016.</p>
<h4><strong>2. Shikhar Dhawan</strong></h4>

<p>Shikhar Dhawan is a big match player as we have heard many times from his team-mates and cricket analysts and he proved that right in the final match of Asia Cup T20 2016 by smashing a match-winning half-century after performing badly in whole Asia Cup and he has also smashed an unbeaten half-century against West Indies in a warmup match at Mumbai. If Shikhar Dhawan plays to his potential in ICC World T20 2016 then one can see India lift the T20 World Cup trophy second time in T20I history. He and Rohit Sharma compliments each other very well and both would like to show that in the first T20I match against New Zealand one more time.</p>

<p>If one ask who will be the X-factor for India in ICC T20 World Cup 2016 then more often than not you will give the answer that Virat Kohli will be the X-factor for India if they want to win the T20 World Cup of 2016 and why because he has been ‘Mr. Consistent’ for India from last three to four years irrespective of the format. He is the leading run-scorer in T20Is in 2016 by scoring 352 runs from 8 matches at an average of 117.33 and these numbers tell us that if New Zealand want to win against India then they have to beat Virat Kohli first then and then they can think of beating India in Nagpur. Virat Kohli also needs one half-century to go past Brendon McCullum’s record of 12 half centuries so it will be interesting to see who will win, Virat Kohli or New Zealand?</p>

<p>Suresh Raina is known as a game changer for India although he has not yet proved that right in 2016 barring one match against Australia on January 31, 2016 where he made 49* runs from 38 balls and helped India to win the match from a tough situation. After that match he has played a series against Sri Lanka and Asia Cup but he did not show his true class in those games but just like Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina is a man of big tournaments so it will be interesting to see whether he will prove once again that or not and he has given us indications of that by playing a bold innings against South Africa in a warmup match at Mumbai.</p>
<h4><strong>5. Yuvraj Singh</strong></h4>

<p>Yuvraj Singh has made only 114 runs from 7 innings in 2016 at a strike rate of 106.54 but if one can neglect these numbers then can say that he is a player who can win you matches and tournaments with his bowling, batting and fielding and 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 OD World Cup were the prime examples of that as he will get another opportunity against New Zealand to prove his mettle in the World. Yuvraj Singh’s form in this year’s T20 World Cup can prove to be vital for India if India want to win T20 World Cup 2016.</p>
<h4><strong>6. MS Dhoni (C &amp; WK)</strong></h4>

<p>MS Dhoni would like to prove once again as a captain because he has all the skills in his armory that can help India to win this year’s ICC T20 World Cup and he has proved himself as captain in many ICC tournaments. As a batsman, he has shown his hitting skills in Asia cup and in warmup games and if he clicks then no one in this World can stop India to lift the World Cup trophy. His wicket-keeping skills are better than most keepers who will take part in this year’s T20 World Cup but it will be interesting to see whether MS Dhoni will fire with the bat or not and that we will be able to know tomorrow as India will play New Zealand at Nagpur.</p>
<h4><strong>7. Hardik Pandya</strong></h4>

<p>India needs a fast bowling all-rounder who can bat properly and now India have someone like Hardik Pandya who will take that spot. He is a very good hitter of the ball as his strike rate in T20I cricket is 147.61 and he has also taken 10 wickets this year from 11 T20I matches. This will be first World Cup for Hardik Pandya and if he can prove his worth then he can make his case for ODIs and Tests, too but for that how he performs against New Zealand in the first match that will be interesting to see.</p>

<p>Ever since Hardik Pandya has come into the Indian team, Ravindra Jadeja has not had that much chance of showing his batting skills but he can be effective if needed as he will play as a front line spinner in the first match against New Zealand as India will depend on him to take wickets in the middle overs along with Ravichandran Ashwin. <p>Ravichandran Ashwin will be the leader of Indian bowling attack in ICC T20 World Cup 2016. He has taken 17 wickets from 10 T20I matches in 2016. He can bowl in powerplay overs, in middle overs and in death overs if needed and that is a very good skill to have as an off-spinner and he has done that for India and in IPL for his franchise many times. The Indian conditions will suit his style of bowling and it will be big plus for India and now it will be interesting to see whether he can take an advantage of that or not.</p>
