Abu Dhabi will lock horns with Ajman in the 4th match of the Emirates D50 at the Malek Cricket Stadium 2 in Abu Dhabi on November 9. Dubai Dare Devils has had a pretty ordinary season with three losses from three matches and are present at the bottom of the table in Group A. Valley Boys, on the other hand, have not been too different, with just one win from three games. They are placed sixth in Group A.
Abu Dhabi last played against Emirates Red, where Abu Dhabi won the toss and elected to bat. Though a little slow, Abu Dhabi had started well and had an opening partnership of 42 runs. They had a mini collapse with the fall of the first wicket, but the experienced pair of Kamran Atta and Ali Abid calmed the storm and took the team to 217 runs. Emirates, in reply, started off really well, with the opening stand lasting for 92 runs. This prepared a good stage for the middle order to come and conquer the chase. They easily chased the total down and won the match by six wickets.
Ajman squared off against Dubai in their last game, where Ajman won the toss and elected to bat. The decision to bat did not seem like a good idea, as they had a slow and sloppy start, which kept getting worse. A couple of batters did get a start, but none of them could really capitalize and were bowled out for just 171. Dubai had a bit shaky start to the chase, but a sensational partnership worth 125 runs for the third wicket put them back right into place. They were easily able to chase the target then and won the match by seven wickets.
