ACB Kombans have won just one game from the seven they have played and are ninth in the points table. On the other hand, the Elbe Tigers have played five matches where they are yet to win any. They are languishing at the bottom of the table.
ACB Kombans had played against USC Magdeburg in their last match, where ACB Kombans had won the toss and elected to bowl. USCM started very well with their entire top-order firing. The middle-order failed to carry forward the momentum but still managed a decent finishing, due to which they managed to put up a good total of 118 runs. Kombans did not start well, but their middle order contributed well to their innings. However, they could not score at the pace which was required and lost the match by 17 runs.
Elbe Tigers had played against ICA Berlin in their last match, where Elbe Tigers had won the toss and elected to bat. The Tigers made a cautious start but lost four wickets on a trot next. Swapnil Bane and Murtaza Hassan joined hands to stitch together a good partnership and helped the team put up a total of 92 runs on the board. Next came the match-winning partnership between Rohit Grover and Arun Kumar, which remained unbeaten for 94 runs, and ICA Berlin won the match by eight wickets.
